An advocate since 1968, Richard consults on Customary Law, General Law and Private Law including Personal Injury, Tort and Contract disputes. Richard has wide experience in relation to property portfolios, principally acting for plaintiffs in personal injury claims, acting for defendants in criminal and licensing matters, and matters of personal, customary and family law disputes, as well as mediating such disputes.
Richard spends time thoroughly exploring his clients’ unique needs and individual circumstances before providing a breadth of perspectives with which to navigate the path of least resistance to the desired goals. Richard brings a wealth of experience, of life, people and law that has proven to be invaluable to BoisBois clients. Richard imparts measured wisdom and friendly, pragmatic advice to achieve a swift and effective resolution.
Richard loves reading, life-long education and gardening, was once President of the Société Jersiaise, one of the founding members of the Jersey Heritage Trust and is Deputy Editor of the Jersey and Guernsey Law Review.
